About The Position

The Director of Internal Communications is responsible for leading enterprise-wide communication strategies that inform, inspire, and connect employees. This role leads a small team of communications professionals and partners closely with CEO, senior leadership, Human Resources, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives, supports cultural principles, and enhances employee experience. About the job Executive Communications Draft, edit, and manage executive-level communications including CEO messages and leadership updates. Support the development and delivery of content for townhall meetings, leadership meetings and other video messages. Provide strategic communication support during crisis or sensitive situations in collaboration with senior leaders. Strategy & Culture Translate business strategies into clear, compelling messages to engage and inspire employees Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to create communication campaigns in alignment with culture and talent initiatives 3. Change Management and Employee Engagement Translate complex business priorities, organizational changes, acquisitions, and transformation initiatives into clear, accessible messages for global audiences. Support leaders with messaging frameworks, toolkits, and change communication plans. Partner with Human Resources on employee listening strategy and insights to drive leader actions. Amplify employee success stories and moments that reinforce belonging, inclusion, and community. 4. Channel Strategy & Content Management Lead the evolution of internal digital channels, including intranet, workplace apps, email newsletters, and Microsoft Teams. Leverage technology to shape communication strategy and approach Evolve communication KPIs and build dashboards to measure reach, engagement, sentiment, and impact. 5. Community Giving Program Oversee Community Giving program to fosters meaningful local engagement globally. Ensure alignment of program with Littelfuse strategic pillars, brand, and employee culture.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in internal or internal communications
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, presentation, and message development skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Expertise with different technology to support communication effort (e.g., intranet platforms, Teams, copilot, Ai tools, digital publishing).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change communications and navigate complex organizational environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business and organizational acumen.
  • Intellectually curious, resourceful, and collaborative.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Open and transparent in communication.
  • Able to maintain the big picture while willing to roll up the sleeves.
  • Resilient under pressure, with the ability to stay effective in challenging situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
