About The Position

Flock Safety is seeking a Director, IT Integrations/AI to lead a technology roadmap that optimizes a connected SaaS systems architecture and integrations. This role will also drive the organization’s AI strategy and roadmap, serving as a bridge between various business units and IT teams. The successful candidate will standardize across a unified iPaaS solution, design scalable SaaS integrations, and incorporate AI capabilities while ensuring data integrity and security. Additionally, this role involves building and leading a team to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing integration solutions.
  • 5+ years leading technical resources in high-growth environments.
  • Experience with iPaaS solutions (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, AWS AppFlow).
  • Experience with SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, Rippling).
  • Strong knowledge of integration methods such as API (SOAP, REST), JSON, MFT, Pub/Sub, Webhooks.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
  • Understanding of data solutions and ETL processes for collaboration with Data & Analytics teams.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience applying emerging AI/ML solutions in Generative AI and Agentic AI.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, fully-remote environment in the high-tech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and governance of APIs, web services, middleware, and AI frameworks across SaaS business applications.
  • Compile a prioritized, rolling Integrations Roadmap that aligns with business strategy for efficiency and productivity.
  • Architect solutions via microservices, event-driven systems, and AI-enabled platforms to build secure and scalable ecosystems.
  • Hire and build a team to meet the company’s growth strategy.
  • Create and maintain documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications and architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure successful implementations and drive software adoption.
  • Establish and enforce integration development standards to ensure reliability and performance of solutions.
  • Implement frameworks and strategies to manage AI tools for efficiency and compliance.
