About The Position

The Director of Integrated Strategy will bridge brand and engagement strategy to craft impactful solutions that drive brand, engagement, and business growth. This individual is both a creative problem solver and data explorer, turning research and insights into actionable brand, media, and omnichannel strategies. They deliver clarity and precision in all of their communications and recommendations, providing thoughtful direction confidently and without ambiguity. They shape strategic direction, define key journeys, and guide creative development while contributing to timelines, KPIs, and new business efforts. Cross-functional collaboration is key to this role. Requirements

  • 6+ years in a strategy role.
  • At least 3 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, including one product launch or label update.
  • Ability to own day-to-day work and deliverables across multiple clients without close managerial supervision.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations without ambiguity.
  • Experience with market research methodologies and data analytics tools.
  • Experience in integrated marketing, with expertise in at least two of the following: Relationship management (RM, CRM, PRM) Content strategy Engagement/media planning Omnichannel planning Social media strategy SEO/SEM
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining focus on execution and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovative thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Brand / Engagement Strategy: Deeply understand client brands and the consumer journey, ensuring strategies are rooted in insights that enhance both brand and customer experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate cross-disciplinary thinking, shaping strategic direction through briefs, POVs, and presentations. Collaborate with creative, digital, and analytics teams to ensure strategies translate into compelling experiences.
  • Competitive & Experience Intelligence: Monitor competitors and industry trends, identifying experience gaps and new opportunities to elevate brand engagement.
  • Audience Insight & Journey Mapping: Define audience segments and develop nuanced customer journeys that outline key touchpoints and opportunities for meaningful brand interactions.
  • Strategic Direction & Creative Shaping: Guide creative teams with sharp, actionable briefs that integrate brand strategy with user experience insights.
  • Brand Development: Collaborate on the development of positioning, values, and messaging frameworks while ensuring alignment with experience strategies.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Work closely with analysts to define KPIs for both brand and experience strategies, measuring and optimizing performance.
  • Communications & Tactical Planning: Lead development of communications calendars, tactical programs, and omnichannel content strategies that align with both brand and user experience goals.
  • Facilitation & Workshops: Conduct workshops and collaborative sessions with internal teams, clients, and partners to align on strategy and optimize brand experiences.
