The Role: The ideal candidate is a senior technology consultant with a minimum of 10 years ’ consulting experience, proven program management expertise on large-scale IT implementations (including systems integration), and a track record of balancing multiple client engagements. They are adept at leading teams, shaping solutions, and driving successful outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments within the insurance or financial services sector.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years in a technology consulting or professional services environment, with demonstrable success in client-facing roles.
  • Led projects with teams of 30+ people and multiple concurrent work streams. Responsible for creating, assessing, and evolving team structures and resource needs.
  • Delivered a minimum of 5 IT-based implementation projects, including at least 2 involving systems integration.
  • Experience managing and balancing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with Request for Proposal (RfP) processes, including creation, presentation, and strategic input to increase win rates.
  • Led at least 2 systems integration projects in a consulting capacity, including project management and solution design to assess and build teams for client needs.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills with senior business and IT leaders.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaboratively, lead cross-functional teams, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrates creativity, critical thinking, and a focus on delivering business value.
  • Proven ability to manage risk, ensure quality, and deliver complex technology projects on time and within budget.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture, web service data integration, and data storage concepts.
  • Builds credibility and trust with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Comfortable transitioning between strategic and operational levels; thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Works effectively across teams, geographies, and disciplines.
  • Aligns with the organisation ’ s values of innovation, integrity, and excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years ’ experience in US P&C insurance, including Commercial Lines.
  • Experience implementing major workbench, policy admin systems, rating engines, or underwriting-focused software products.
  • Experience leading technology or process transformations within a US insurance carrier.
  • Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
