About The Position

Coordination and administration of all operational aspects to ensure effective high quality care for patients. Development and implementation of strategic plans that integrate the goals of Advocate Health Care/South Suburban Hospital’s Mission, Values, and Philosophy. Lead strategic planning, marketing, and new service line/program development efforts for assigned service lines, both inpatient and outpatient programs, in collaboration with business development. Market and promote service in conjunction with other disciplines and departments. Development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards which follow quality management, DNV, IDPH, CMS, CDC, OSHA, and other external guidelines. Responsible for professional and personal growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Masters Degree any field OR Bachelors Degree any field with a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Minimum 5 years in healthcare leadership.
  • Nurse, Registered (RN) Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Critical Care experience preferred.
  • Nurse Executive Certification and/or certification in specialty preferred (or within 2 years of hire into position)
