The Director of Infrastructure Management is responsible for the effective management of the Information Technology Infrastructure organization to provide timely, customer oriented, and efficient service of the highest quality. This position will be part of the Chief Information Officer’s leadership team which provides oversight and strategic IT vision for Tanner Medical Center, Inc. The incumbent will manage the Tanner IT Infrastructure organization and as such be accountable for the IT Infrastructure functions: data center, telephony, network, desktop, servers, and storage. Additionally, the Director of Infrastructure Management will lead Disaster Recovery and Infrastructure related projects. Performs the function of the chief security officer and is responsible for the operational security function.

  • Manage the Information Technology Infrastructure organization.
  • Provide timely, customer-oriented, and efficient service.
  • Oversee IT Infrastructure functions including data center, telephony, network, desktop, servers, and storage.
  • Lead Disaster Recovery and Infrastructure related projects.
  • Perform the function of the chief security officer.
  • Ensure operational security functions are maintained.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in healthcare application management and/or IT applications management.
  • Proven staff, managerial, and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective working relationships with all levels of management.
  • Ability to effectively work in matrix organizations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and inductive reasoning skills.
  • Interest in employee development and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to assign work appropriately to team members.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in implementing processes and procedures in an existing environment.
  • Knowledge of asset and software license management best practices.
  • Ability to concentrate on large amounts of detail and track multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Process knowledge of ITIL v3 framework.
  • MBA or Masters of Healthcare or related degree.
  • Experience in leading teams and projects.
  • Flexibility to shift priorities and manage multiple responsibilities.
