About The Position
Jones Edmund is looking for a dynamic leader to join us as the Director of Information Technology. The Director of Information Technology's (also referred to as the IT Director) primary responsibility is to supervise the Information Technology department’s employees, maintaining all systems on-site and remotely, develop network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs, and direct all activities of the Company’s intricate computer infrastructure. The Director of IT will plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT Department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. The Director of IT shall be an innovative and efficiency-oriented enabler of business strategies that will work closely with decision makers within the Company to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. The IT Director will create rational strategies for upgrading the company’s network software whenever a new update is available, as well as, construct and implement plans to ensure the company’s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem. Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team as well as working closely with our department managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network is paramount to this role.
