About The Position

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all technology systems and infrastructure across the casino property. This role ensures that IT initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives, meet regulatory and compliance requirements, and support the operational needs of both gaming and hospitality functions. The Director is responsible for forward-looking system and component implementation that will assure investment protection by remaining at the front of technological advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a senior IT management or leadership role.
  • At least two (2) years of experience within the casino, hospitality, or gaming industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing enterprise-level IT systems, including gaming platforms, property management systems, and point-of-sale networks.
  • Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, server infrastructure, and systems integration.
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations, data protection laws, and IT governance frameworks applicable to the casino industry.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, manage cross-functional projects, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong capacity to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM.
  • Experience in deploying cloud-based solutions, virtualization, or infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Prior success in implementing innovative IT strategies that contribute to business growth and operational efficiency within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with Property Management and users, and Corporate IT staff to ensure that business requirements are adequately met and that applications and systems are properly utilized.
  • Participate at the corporate level in tactical and strategic planning for IT.
  • Provide and manage departmental staffing in accordance with company and corporate standards.
  • Develop, implement, and manage written standard operating procedures for day-to-day IT operations.
  • Provide daily and periodic operational reporting as required by company and regulatory policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Manage the departmental budget.
  • Conduct on-going operational analysis and adjust procedures and equipment to ensure the highest possible availability of IT resources to all elements of the organization.
  • Organize and coordinate IT projects as may be required to update and maintain IT equipment and software at the front of the technological curve.
  • Work with the Corporate IT Staff, Vendors, and industry technology forums to ensure investment protection for the IT infrastructure.
  • Train and educate staff.
  • Monitor hardware and software licensing through the License and Security Administrator to ensure all equipment and software is properly licensed.
  • Ensure the continuing availability of local IT resources which are integrated into the corporate IT environment through proactive monitoring and management of those resources and their associated hardware, software, and applications.
  • Develop department members' knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.
  • Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company's Mission and Values.
  • Demonstrate commitment to assisting in the development of Seminole Tribe members participating in the Tribal Career Development program.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
