Under the leadership of the Vice President, the Director, Enterprise Operations is responsible for aligning the company's strategic goals with technology solutions. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the organization's ecosystem, integrated systems, technology stack, and architecture standards. Operating at both strategic and tactical levels across multiple projects, the Director, Enterprise Operations ensures coherence and alignment with the enterprise's long-term vision and objectives. They will model and uphold PDS We Believes and provide subject matter expertise which aligns technology decisions with holistic business strategies. Responsibilities Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders to understand corporate strategy and translate it into actionable and sustainable technological strategies. Architecture Design and Guidance: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide architecture standards, providing architectural blueprints to guide teams and ensuring alignment with enterprise solution architecture. Governance and Standards Compliance: Establish governance structures to ensure adherence to architectural standards across all projects and systems, reviewing and approving significant architectural decisions. Technology Leadership and Advocacy: Advocate for the adoption of new technologies that enhance organizational capabilities, serving as a technology leader within the organization. Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure that individual system architectures align with enterprise architecture by providing guidance to System Architects and resolving architectural conflicts. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technological risks associated with architectural decisions and strategies at an enterprise level. Trusted Business Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, identifying business needs, strategies, and roadmaps. Guide stakeholders in making informed decisions regarding technology solutions, including buy vs. build considerations. Integration and Standardization: Ensure that enterprise standards are updated and adhered to by System Architects when designing and implementing solutions. Monitor and Optimize: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of architectural strategies, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing technology solutions at an enterprise level, with a proven track record in leading enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of various architecture frameworks and broad experience with technologies across different IT layers and Architecture Domains.
  • Bachelors in related field, in lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide technology strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Expertise in business process analysis, systems architecture, and digital transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset, balancing long-term vision with immediate priorities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proficiency in enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, BPM tools) and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, cloud computing).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise transformations and cloud-based architectures.
  • Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
