The Director, Implementation Science role is pivotal in supporting the organizational transformation towards a data-enabled mindset aimed at addressing clinical inertia within priority disease areas. This position is integral to the US Evidence Team, which plays a strategic role within US Medical, delivering compelling evidence and subject matter expertise that empowers data-enabled execution of strategies and external practice change for the benefit of patients. In this role, the Director will champion a data-enabled mindset transformation within the medical organization, guiding the development of targeted execution of medical strategy with Core Medical Teams. The focus will be on evolving practice patterns and providing value to the business through innovative implementation solutions and programs that improve the utilization of evidence-based interventions, including EHR alerts and other disease management tools. The Director will collaborate with external scientific leaders, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory authorities to drive data-enabled practice change initiatives. The successful candidate will empower the Field Medical Team to transform healthcare professional (HCP) engagement into targeted and tailored interactions for maximal impact. This role requires maintaining a high level of expertise in US Biopharmaceuticals disease areas and an adequate awareness of the evolution of guidelines within therapeutic areas. The Director will also support internal stakeholders with insights and expertise to accelerate the adoption of Guideline Directed Medication Therapy (GDMT) for improved patient outcomes.
