About The Position

Eurasia Group is seeking a Director-level candidate to join our Impact Partnerships team in New York or Washington, DC. This role is ideal for an experienced partnership builder and consultative commercial leader who will lead our events program and manage, structure, and grow multi-stakeholder content and thought-leadership partnerships for clients across multiple sectors and geographies. The Director will drive growth across impact partnerships, convenings, and strategic engagement platforms, working in close coordination with Eurasia Group and GZERO Media colleagues across events, advisory, research, and communications. A successful candidate will have proven skill at running complex events in North America, Europe, and beyond, as well as leading teams across the organization to plan and execute impactful events. The role will focus on building long-term client relationships beyond traditional sponsorship models through integrated, content-led engagement strategies and stakeholder convening.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in content partnerships, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build and manage senior client relationships across the C-suite and key functions (e.g., corporate affairs, government relations, communications, marketing).
  • Demonstrated success structuring complex, multi-stakeholder content and thought leadership partnerships, and translating client goals into strategic programs.
  • Strong experience in community building and convening, including designing campaigns and programs that drive sustained engagement and stakeholder value.
  • Sound understanding of strategic communications, impact strategy, and multi-sector ecosystem dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills; comfortable engaging senior public- and private-sector stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail; thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • English fluency required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our events program and work seamlessly across the organization to plan and execute impactful events, including Eurasia Group Summits taking place around the globe.
  • Scope and structure large-scale content and thought leadership partnerships for clients; translate client needs into compelling programs, deliverables, and engagement campaigns to address client priorities and deepen relationships beyond one-off sponsorships.
  • Drive sales and revenue generation, including prospecting, pipeline development, proposal development, forecasting, and internal coordination to move opportunities from early-stage concept through contract and delivery readiness.
  • Partner cross-functionally across events, communications, marketing, Corporates, GLOMA, GZERO Media, and other departments to identify opportunities, build integrated solutions, and ensure high-quality execution of partnership activities.
  • Establish and track metrics to measure partnership outcomes, client value, and program impact; use insights to refine offerings and improve performance.
  • Contribute to team capability-building, sharing best practices in consultative selling, partnership design, and stakeholder engagement; may mentor junior colleagues and support training efforts.
