About The Position

Under administrative direction, this position manages and executes all aspects of financial management, control, analysis and planning. The incumbent will be responsible for managing financial analysis for operational units in the organization. They work with business leaders to develop financial plans. This individual will assist with the development of business plans, resource modeling and financial guidance for assigned groups, as well as provide financial/accounting support by managing and monitoring revenue and capital expense budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Business Finance, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training in a related field.
  • 5 or more years of related experience.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting.
  • Knowledge of financials
  • Organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operations to evaluate performance of operational units or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
  • Prepare, review, and/or report on monthly financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and/or quarterly earnings releases.
  • Execute special projects with little to no supervision
  • Implement business or organizational policies, objectives, or activities to ensure continuing operations, maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.
  • Maintain or recommend changes to the accounting and budgeting systems and/or processes.
  • Cooperate with internal auditors, public accountants, federal tax examiners, and other financial professionals on routine financial and accounting matters.
  • Assist and manage team in identifying, analyzing and/or solving accounting/financial problems including compiling financial reports for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP and section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Assess existing and proposed financial plans and policies to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s financial administration.
