About The Position

The Director of Human Resources at Dameron Hospital serves as a strategic HR leader, responsible for creating a safe and engaging workplace that fosters personal and professional development. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Ten or more years of progressive Human Resource Management experience required.
  • Proven track record of success in HR management.
  • Healthcare industry and labor relations experience preferred.
  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR consulting services to local leaders and employee managers.
  • Assess the impact of HR and talent programs on the organization.
  • Set strategy, objectives, and policies with an operational focus.
  • Participate in long-range business planning and introduction of new programs.
  • Act as a champion for employee culture, engagement, and performance.
  • Establish operational objectives for the HR department and delegate assignments.
  • Lead talent management practices including workforce planning and performance management.
  • Support investigation and resolution of complex employee relations issues.
  • Monitor compensation trends and manage the total rewards program.
  • Oversee staff learning and development initiatives.
  • Advise senior management on policy development and long-term departmental goals.
  • Prepare departmental budgets and recommend for approval.
