The Human Resources Director will implement Human Resource values and coordinate HR management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources. This includes managing employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. The role involves establishing HR programs, providing advice and counsel, and updating HR policies and procedures.

  • Manage Company Policies, Procedures and Best Practices for compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Oversee the entire Employment Cycle including Recruitment, On-boarding, Orientation, Training & Retention, and Off-boarding.
  • Update and maintain Job Descriptions for exempt and non-exempt staff.
  • Set goals at all levels, conduct performance assessments, coaching, and training.
  • Develop and manage company safety programs including Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and Emergency Action Plans.
  • Maintain Worker’s Compensation regulations and manage claims processes.
  • Source and negotiate benefits opportunities including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, and PTO.
  • Set up and maintain employee payroll database and manage payroll processing.
  • Provide HR advice and support to management as required.
  • Visit locations to provide feedback and review safety logs and personnel procedures.
  • Collaborate with management on employee benefits and Workers’ Compensation.
  • Participate in company events to build employee morale and camaraderie.
  • Continuously improve HR knowledge through workshops and professional networking.
  • Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 10+ Years Executive HR Management Experience.
  • SPHR/PHR Certification.
  • Knowledge of Federal, California state and local laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in implementation of HR policies.
  • Experience in managing organizational change and productivity improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
