About The Position

This is your chance to be part of our in-house Hilton Supply Management (HSM) team that supports our brands, owners, and operators! HSM has transformed how supply chain and procurement adds value to the hospitality industry, with 6 billion dollars of spend influence, over 2000 suppliers, and support of sustainability, supplier diversity, and responsible sourcing goals. As a Director, HSM Business Development Strategy, you will lead the commercial analysis and governance of all business development opportunities. On the Business Development Strategy team reporting to the Senior Director, HSM Strategy, Planning, and Insights, you will help HSM maximize performance across all Group Purchasing contracts while delivering value to our customers.

Requirements

  • Nine (9) years of professional experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience supporting a finance team, building and evaluating financial models.
  • Two (2) years of experience independently leading projects.
  • Understanding of RFP and sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial and strategic analysis of new business development opportunities, including GPO contracts, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead all RFP responses to ensure HSM explains its capabilities and value proposition to potential customers.
  • Maintain governance frameworks to evaluate and approve commercial deals.
  • Monitor and optimize margin performance across all GPO contracts, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation in future contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Category Management, Procurement Technology and Operations) to ensure alignment on RFP Responses and Strategic Decisions that impact HSM's Business Development Processes.
  • Present executive-level business cases and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the HSM Sales team during oral presentations with potential customers.
  • Take ownership of RFP Responses and major sales initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis and benchmarking of past deals to inform future decisions and negotiations.
  • Manage the Commercial Review Process of all deals that require investment.
