About The Position

The Director of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is a pivotal role within the HR Leadership team at Cook Children's Health Care System. This position is responsible for leading the HRIS Team and overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and operation of the organization's HRIS systems, particularly focusing on optimizing and managing the Workday system. The Director will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance system functionality, ensure compliance, and implement HR technology solutions, while also advising senior leadership on best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5 years of progressive experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in HRIS or HR technology, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Extensive experience with Workday and other HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
• Significant experience leading and managing systems projects.

Responsibilities
