The Director, HR Business Partner - Global Operations will provide strategic HR partnership across several key areas within the Global Operations organization, including Global Supply Chain Technology (Process Development, Packaging & Labeling, and Equipment Engineering), Global R&D, and Global Operations Finance. This leader will partner closely with senior business executives to develop, guide, and drive organizational effectiveness, while aligning HR strategies with business objectives. The role requires strong collaboration across HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, and HR Operations teams to deploy consistent HR processes and support talent initiatives across the enterprise. This hybrid role reports directly to the Vice President, HR for Global Operations and plays a critical part in shaping the talent agenda across Boston Scientific's Global Operations and New Product Development (NPD) functions.

  • Set strategic HR direction and contribute to the design and execution of organizational effectiveness strategies, including organizational design and development
  • Conduct assessments to identify organizational gaps and develop actionable plans to support business objectives
  • Support annual strategic and operating plans through application of organizational development insights, capability assessments, and workforce planning
  • Provide HR leadership in partnership with global, regional, and local COEs and HR Operations in areas such as capability development, succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, labor relations, compliance, and engagement
  • Leverage HR Centers of Excellence and People Services to deliver consistent, value-driven HR solutions that support the business strategy
  • Collaborate closely with HRBPs supporting other Global Operations functions to ensure consistency in HR delivery and process alignment
  • Support the Global Operations HR VP in their partnership with the Technical Executive Committee (TEC) and coordinate efforts across regional and divisional R&D HRBPs globally
  • Coach and advise senior leaders on issues related to morale, performance, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead and support strategic initiatives, including acquisition integrations and organizational transformations
  • Drive change management strategies that improve performance and build human capital capabilities
  • Ensure effective use of data, metrics, and analytics to support business and talent strategies
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape and reinforce a culture aligned with Boston Scientific's values and behaviors
  • Promote and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, enabling all employees to reach their full potential
  • Share industry insights, HR expertise, and best practices with global HR and business teams to elevate HR impact across the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in a progressive Human Resources organization or relevant business environment
  • Proven success operating within a matrixed HR operating model, including collaboration with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and Global HR Operations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach business leaders and drive adoption of enterprise HR processes
  • Experience in a global, growth-oriented, matrixed corporate environment
  • Track record of initiating and leading successful change initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to address complex short- and long-term business challenges
  • Experience designing and implementing custom talent management strategies
  • Proven success developing and executing engagement and retention strategies
  • Ability to drive consistency in HR practices across global teams
