About The Position

Responsible for the overall operation of the Hotel at Tropicana Atlantic City, including Front Desk, Front Services, VIP check-in, Parking and Health Spa.

Requirements

  • NJ KEY QUALIFIER LICENSE NEEDED. MDF will be sent.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Hotel Operations preferred.
  • Minimum five years hotel management experience.
  • Minimum three years resort hotel experience.
  • Thorough understanding of profit and loss statements and budgetary procedures
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of hotel and housekeeping operations
  • Strong communication, supervisory and organizational skills
  • Must be able to report and communicate department operations to all levels of employees and management
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Must be able to manage in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project operation
  • Ability to prioritize and flex to accommodate last minute requests and changes required

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing long-range planning goals, including capital needs for new technology, manpower needs and product needs that will support the growth of the operation
  • Assist in the creation and execution of the budget; develop and implement cost control and revenue enhancement
  • Structure objectives toward the attainment of established financial and customer service goals
  • Establish standards of performance for departmental managers and supervisors
  • Ensure coordination of Hotel Operations with other departments for the highest degree of customer satisfaction and efficient operation
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends and make recommendations for implementation
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly and annual forecasts and reporting results to Finance and senior management
  • Lead the hotel operations division with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
  • Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
  • Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.
