The Director, Hospital Operations is responsible for the strategic, administrative, operational, financial, and business management of his/her/their Service Line(s)/department(s). This includes developing and implementing the program(s)’ strategic and financial growth under direction of the Service Line Vice President and in collaboration with the medical and surgical directors for the respective programs. The Director, Hospital Operations is responsible for leading the long-term development and success of his/her/their SL/program/department(s), including continuously identifying, developing, and implementing methods to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, safety, financial performance, philanthropic opportunities, patient satisfaction, and the quality of the services provided to patients, family members, and referring physicians. The Director, Hospital Operations guides subordinate managers and leads them to achieving well-defined goals and objectives in a metrics focused, performance based model of healthcare delivery. The Director, Hospital Operations is well versed in the community and abreast market trends within their areas of oversight. Under the direction of the Service Line Vice President, the Director, Hospital Operations manages the relationships with pertinent Affiliates.
