About The Position

Lead the enterprise planning and alignment for Groups & Events. Manages the governance, budget, operating model, and long-term strategy of Groups & Events. Your day to day Develop and articulate the end-to-end Global Groups & Events Strategy, including definition of the long-term ambition and value proposition across groups, meetings, incentives, conferences, and events Translate the Groups & Events vision into coherent enterprise-wide direction by aligning teams, stakeholders, processes, and decision-making  Define the operating model for Groups & Events (governance, roles, ways of working, decision rights, cadence, and performance processes). Establish consistent global processes to ensure functions and regions operate in alignment with Groups & Events priorities. Influence cross‑functional, function‑driven programs (e.g., Business Rewards, Loyalty, Technology, Brand, Sales) to ensure Groups & Events needs are integrated into enterprise initiatives. Serve as the primary conduit connecting Groups & Events strategic priorities with global functions, ensuring enterprise programs reinforce Groups & Events objectives. Lead annual and multi‑year planning cycles for Groups & Events, including budget management and prioritization. Drive cross-functional program management for major initiatives, ensuring visibility into milestones, dependencies, and decision-making. Provide program leadership and management for complex, enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives, ensuring coordinated delivery, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation. Oversee integrated project portfolios, ensuring alignment to strategy, cross‑functional synchronization, and accountability for outcomes. Drive cross‑functional alignment by facilitating strategic conversations, integration workshops, and leadership forums. Ensure enterprise stakeholders understand Groups & Events priorities, implications, and their role in driving aligned execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years in enterprise planning, commercial strategy, performance management, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience developing longterm strategy, operating models, and multiyear roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets, planning cycles, and enterprise governance.
  • Proven strength in project and program management including executive-level reporting for complex, cross functional initiatives.
  • Experience influencing without authority across regions, functions, and senior leadership.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret performance trends and customer insights.
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and represent work in executive forums.

  • MBA preferred but not required.
