About The Position

The Director of Grants Management at KPMG will lead technical advisory services related to disaster recovery programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while maximizing funding opportunities. This role requires a strong focus on program design, management, and business development within the context of disaster recovery efforts, contributing to KPMG's growth in the Advisory practice.

Requirements

• A minimum of eight years of recent and applicable experience in a compliance or project/program management role.
• Experience working with state and federal disaster aid programs/agencies such as HUD and FEMA.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations associated with disaster aid programs.
• Previous experience leading teams and managing projects.
• Demonstrated track record of client service and business development.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to gain the confidence of senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory services related to relief programs for disaster recovery, including program design and management.
• Ensure regulatory and process compliance to maximize funding and expedite rebuilding efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize federal and state disaster assistance.
• Provide expert programmatic and policy advice on federal disaster relief programs.
• Design and prepare presentations and reports to provide meaningful recommendations to clients.
• Contribute to industry and regulatory publications and speak at external seminars.
• Participate in business development efforts for primary target clients within disaster locations.
• Schedule, plan, assign, and provide direction and review the work of team members.
