About The Position

The Director GPO Planning Excellence (Global Process Owner) is a key strategic leadership role responsible for the enterprise S&OP process and the Supply Chain Digital Pulse POD process. The leader will drive end-to-end planning functional maturity and capability through process standardization, incorporating new methodologies and proficiencies across the cross functional teams. The Director will partner with closely with planning leaders and senior executives across Supply Chain, Commercial Sales, Marketing, and Finance to establish the maturity roadmap and gain consensus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s degree is desired.
  • 10+ years of progressive Supply Chain leadership or COE experience, with deep expertise in demand, supply, and inventory planning. Prior experience leading the S&OP process is requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, influence senior leaders, effect change, and make strategic decisions with a powerful sense of urgency.
  • Proven success leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including expert proficiency in Excel and strong command of supply chain analytics and modeling.
  • Strong executive communication & storytelling, emotional intelligence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with advanced demand and supply planning tools, digital transformation tools and Tier One ERP is required (prefer SAP or Oracle ERP).

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise leader for the S&OP process for all business units to drive a standard, consistent, and robust operating rhythm.
  • Responsible to ensure all 5-step S&OP monthly process meets the calendar timing, meeting requirements and consensus is reached by the meeting owner. Develop and manage compliance methods to ensure success.
  • Partner with SCLT and Technical reams on technology advancements to improve the supply chain and business results. Focus on process standardization, automation vs. manual, while ensuring adoption to the new ways of working.
  • Utilizing the Agile process, this role will be responsible for the Supply Chain Digital Pulse Pod “Control Tower” process. The role will focus on improving the use of digital dashboards, identify new opportunities from feedback/use and continuously strive to improve and exceed key metrics.
  • Exceptional executive-level presentation skills in delivering timely and succinct messaging to inform and elicit decision making and/or consensus.
  • Dynamic aptitude for conveying the supply chain planning vision, roadmap while understanding the capabilities and challenges.
  • Self-directed, energetic, and customer centric leader who flourishes in a challenging and changing climate.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and ownership with cross functional partners using key examples and impacts to the business.
