About The Position
The Director of Government Affairs at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) is responsible for managing government relations and advocating for the college's interests at various levels of government. This role involves developing and strengthening relationships with public officials, university advocates, and related stakeholders to positively influence legislation and funding for the college. The position also includes monitoring legislative issues, executing lobbying efforts, and managing key events and volunteer advocates for CFAES.
