About The Position

The Director, Government Solutions is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of complex government healthcare workforce programs. This role partners with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and senior public-sector stakeholders to originate, shape, and secure strategic opportunities, often well in advance of a formal solicitation. The ideal candidate brings a consultative, strategic approach to selling, with the political and operational acumen required to navigate multi-stakeholder government environments and advance large-scale programs from concept through award. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant government or healthcare experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in government sales, public-sector consulting, business development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success developing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder government opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of State & Local Government procurement processes, budgeting cycles, and governance structures.
  • Proven ability to operate consultatively with senior government stakeholders and navigate politically nuanced environments.
  • Experience negotiating sophisticated commercial and programmatic agreements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Create and advance new government business opportunities across state agencies and corrections environments by identifying workforce challenges and developing scalable program solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with agency leadership, policy stakeholders, budget owners, and operational decision-makers.
  • Partner with public-sector clients to shape opportunities prior to formal procurement, supporting the evaluation of program structures, funding models, and implementation approaches.
  • Lead complex, long-cycle sales processes, including strategy development, stakeholder mapping, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including legal, finance, operations, product, and marketing to ensure solutions are compliant, competitive, and executable.
  • Communicate SnapCare’s value proposition clearly and credibly, leading sophisticated negotiations and securing successful partnerships.
  • Utilize market intelligence, policy trends, and industry insights to inform growth strategy and opportunity development.
  • Represent SnapCare at industry conferences, public-sector meetings, and professional organizations.
