This role will be responsible for driving the Regeneron Manufacturing (IOPS) AI strategy, overseeing AI capability development, and ensuring the successful realization and integration of AI solutions across the IOPS organization. This role will have a strong background in AI and machine learning, with a proven track record of applying these technologies to solve complex problems. As a Director, GMP AI Engineering, a typical day might include the following: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI roadmap aligned with IOPS business goals, identifying key AI capabilities for the organization, identifying areas for AI application and prioritizing projects. Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable AI strategies and integrate AI solutions into existing systems. Deciding on building or acquiring AI capabilities to ensure present and future business needs are met. Establish AI best practices and guidelines to ensure quality, security, and compliance with regulations. Lead and mentor a high-performing team of AI engineers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Delegate tasks effectively, manage project timelines & budgets, and monitor team performance & timelines. Oversee the full AI lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model development, deployment, and monitoring.
