Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are seeking a visionary product management leader to drive our global strategy for cardiac imaging in the Structural Heart space. The Director, Global Strategic Marketing - Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart will be responsible to lead the development and execution of an imaging and device portfolio strategy for the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Structural Heart business. This includes a keen focus on leading and coordinating critical processes related to developing strategic marketing plans, market research to drive insight generation and unmet need identification, portfolio development and management, new product launches, and business planning and performance tracking. This role sits adjacent to Electrophysiology and is pivotal to expanding J&J’s leadership in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart. The primary focus of this role is to lead the commercial "pivot" from TEE-dependent procedures to ICE (Intracardiac Echocardiography) as the imaging modality of choice. You will develop the clinical and economic evidence strategy to prove the value of ICE in reducing procedure time, eliminating general anesthesia, and optimizing hospital throughput. The individual will have a global mindset, deep IC/Structural Heart market & imaging technology knowledge, existing relationships within the interventional cardiologist community, and a proven ability to influence across complex healthcare environments. Must demonstrate strong experience working cross-functionally with clinical science, medical affairs, R&D, regulatory, marketing, compliance, sales, and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field required.
  • 10+ years of relevant business experience in Marketing or Sales, or a related field is required, ideally with a leading imaging or device company.
  • Cardiovascular industry and clinical structural heart knowledge with proven ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications required.
  • Clinical Depth: Deep understanding of the technical requirements of imaging-guided interventions and the spatial nuances of 4D ICE vs. TEE.
  • Digital Fluency: Experience working with software engineers on AI/Machine Learning integration to improve image processing and clinical utility.
  • Financial & Economic Acumen: Ability to develop financial and market forecasts and articulate the ROI of procedural efficiency.
  • Effective management in a matrix organization and the talent to act as an organizational change agent and leader are required.
  • Proven behaviors as a strong partner and team player, especially with functions including global education, R&D, commercial field leadership, regulatory affairs, clinical affairs and operations/planning/manufacturing.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 30% for customer engagement and major clinical congresses.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi‑year global portfolio and business plan (including 5‑year roadmap, R&D alignment, and M&A input) for Structural Heart imaging products to drive growth in interventional cardiology.
  • Define procedural roadmaps and playbooks (e.g., TEE→ICE conversion), remove adoption barriers, and shape the imaging role within the multidisciplinary Heart Team and cath‑lab workflow.
  • Lead product and technology strategy across hardware, catheters, software and AI; prioritize pipeline investments, translate clinical needs into requirements, and partner with R&D to deliver next‑generation solutions.
  • Create clear value propositions, segmentation, pricing and global/regional launch plans; drive market‑focused demand generation and adoption strategies across regions.
  • Own evidence generation and clinical claims strategy, ensure clinical input is integrated into product design, and translate outcomes into economic and clinical value messaging for payers and providers.
  • Lead cross‑organizational execution with Commercial, R&D, Global Education, Program Management, Regional Marketing and Business Development to operationalize strategy and product launches.
  • Direct market and competitive intelligence to inform positioning, lifecycle decisions and response plans; continually scan for disruptive trends and competitor actions.
  • Cultivate relationships with interventional cardiologists, surgeons, and imaging specialists to shape the "Heart Team" dynamic.
