The Director of Pricing and Market Access Strategy Lead will be responsible for the overall Global Market Access (GMAx) Strategy for one or more of BMS's portfolio assets or combination of assets in the oncology space. This role is pivotal in providing input to the Development and Commercial Strategy organization on access approaches in ex-US markets. The successful candidate will represent integrated Market Access input on above-brand portfolio strategy and portfolio prioritization decisions. This position is highly strategic and cross-functional, requiring collaboration with various teams including commercial, medical, regulatory, clinical, advocacy, policy, and business insights & analytics global leads. The Director will work closely with relevant individual market stakeholders across the globe to optimally position BMS products for success in an increasingly challenging and evolving worldwide access landscape. A motivated, inclusive, and decisive disposition is essential for success in this role. The candidate must be highly informed on Global Access strategy, possess a track record of making complex strategic decisions, and be able to communicate strategy effectively to senior leaders across functions. The Director will lead the development of an integrated Global Market Access strategy for BMS' in-line and pipeline Oncology Medicines/assets, ensuring that the Market Access Strategy is supported by strong Payer Value Propositions that articulate bold and differentiated messages on clinical, humanistic, and economic benefits. These propositions must be backed by robust evidence from interventional, non-interventional, and real-world data in time for the first worldwide price negotiation at launch of the Brand or new Indication. Additionally, the Director will lead GMAx input to the Global Product Team to ensure that Market Access perspectives are incorporated into development plans and to optimize Registrational Trial designs. This role also involves collaborating with the full GMAx organization to holistically assess BMS' Oncology assets, maximizing both speed of access and long-term franchise value while considering commercial objectives and the anticipated market environment at the asset's launch. The Director will lead the Global MAx Core Value Team and Value Strategy Team for relevant assets/indications, working with various teams to monitor the external environment and synthesize input to inform Market Access strategy throughout the drug's life cycle.
