The Director, Global Planning Center of Excellence will lead the global design, enablement, and evolution of Hasbro’s integrated planning capabilities across demand, supply, inventory, and analytics. This role will drive agility in planning and help reduce the total planning timeline by creating streamlined, insight-led processes that connect strategic, tactical, and operational horizons. Partnering across Supply Chain, Commercial, Logistics, and Finance, the Director will lead the development of scalable frameworks, data integration strategies, and planning system enhancements that support segmentation, scenario planning, and business alignment. The role is central to transforming how Hasbro plans across the enterprise—enabling faster, smarter decisions through simplification, automation, and connected insights. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA. A Day in the Life of Director, Global Planning: As a Director, you will act as a key change leader—driving strategy, alignment, and execution across multiple business units. While this role has no direct reports, it carries significant enterprise influence and leadership accountability. The Director serves as a catalyst for transformation across Hasbro—guiding teams, shaping decisions, and advancing strategic initiatives through thought leadership and cross-functional partnership rather than formal people management.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of strong E2E planning expertise.
  • Strong change leadership skills, with the ability to shape a responsive future-ready planning ecosystem.
  • Strategic end-to-end supply chain mindset thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal, project and change management skills to transform the supply network planning process, organization, and environment for Hasbro.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve the E2E Planning Design & Optimization – Drive the sustainment and continuous improvement of the end-to-end planning process design (demand, supply, inventory), ensuring agile weekly replanning (within 24–48 hours) and maximizing automation to support a responsive, forward-looking 24-month horizon.
  • Partner with Technology to deliver best-in-class planning systems and enhancements – Collaborate closely with IT and digital teams to select, implement, and optimize planning systems that enable automation, integration, and real-time decision support. Champion technology-led solutions that drive agility, improve visibility, and shorten the total planning cycle.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics for Control Tower insights – Partner with analytics teams to define key data signals, alerts, and visibility layers within the Intelligent Control Tower. Enable synchronized E2E operations and actionable insights for agile execution and proactive risk management.
  • Develop and maintain E2E planning master data and rule governance – Build and sustain a cross-functional playbook for planning master data, segmentation logic, business rules, and optimization parameters to ensure consistent, scalable process execution.
  • Talent development, training, and organizational capability building – Lead upskilling efforts to embed planning best practices, digital fluency, and systems proficiency. Develop training programs and collaborate on a Supply Chain Academy-style model to build organizational strength in E2E planning.
