About The Position

The Global Marketing Women's Cancers Director will play a vital role in building and maximizing the Global opportunity for the Women's Cancers franchise and will be responsible for shaping Women's Cancers indications across treatment settings. This position will require outstanding leadership in market assessment, disease strategy, product clinical development, launch strategy, market development, thought leader engagement, competitive dynamics, issues management, forecasting, opportunity valuations, and overall flawless launch execution. The role involves developing commercial strategies, supporting disease area assessment, providing input to long-term pipeline development and commercial input on Product Development Team activities, and leading launch and commercialization strategies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS/B Eng degree
  • 8+ years of Pharma Commercial experience, including Oncology and product launch experience
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen, problem solving skills, managing large complex initiatives, strong business judgment and ability to drive initiatives forward
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, experience leading strategy development and implementation
  • Ability to clearly articulate insights and strategies messages/information across the enterprise and to leadership
  • Ability to engage with complex scientific information and clinical data, with subject matter experts and distill insights for commercial implications
  • Agility to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment
  • Must be able to influence without authority as well as work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop commercial strategies aligned with our strategic marketing approach ("L3") with cross-functional partners to successfully navigate the evolving internal and external environments and deliver value to our customers.
  • Support our overall disease area assessment, including burden of disease, patient journeys, unmet need, evolving competitive landscape and pipeline.
  • Provide input to long term pipeline development and commercial input on activities in the Product Development Team (PDT) incl., target product profile development (TPP), commercial implications of development plans and their evolution, drive inputs to revenue forecasting, NPV, business case, develop scenario planning and analysis.
  • Provide commercial leadership, develop aligned perspectives and input in various settings, incl. other cross-functional working and governance teams: launch readiness reviews, identification of data gaps and approaches, market research, revenue forecasting, budget, organized customer interactions, events/congresses, agency partner management.
  • Responsible for launch and commercialization strategies and deliver global strategy and execution plans and tactics, including: Generate market and customer insights (incl. drivers, barriers, competitive dynamics, and ecosystems) through a combination of quantitative and qualitative ways to engage on portfolio and indication opportunities.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and CI to establish a deep understanding of our clinical trials vs competition to drive product differentiation.
  • Ensures that all materials and initiatives are aligned to our company compliance standards, receive necessary approvals and are appropriately refreshed.
  • Engage effectively with regions and markets.
  • Provide leadership, support, and expertise as well as gain input and feedback from region and country colleagues on strategy, marketing materials approaches and omnichannel marketing.
  • Lead and contribute to development of strategic and tactical plans annually and be accountable for execution of their responsibilities as tracked through QBR and budgets management.
  • Lead initiatives to drive operational efficiency and effective deployment of global strategies across the team.
