About The Position

The Global Strategic Marketing Director serves as a strategic right hand, thought partner, and force multiplier to SEM President and across the organization. They will be a trusted partner to the President and their leadership team with a focus on driving strategy, governance, and special projects to enable SEM’s continued success. They will enhance the President’s effectiveness and maximize their capacity to drive business priorities through their strategic support and high-level execution. Responsibilities

  • Gain and maintain a trust-based relationship with the SEM President, business and functional leaders, and key external stake holders with a strong focus on the betterment of the team and organization
  • Navigate competing priorities flawlessly with the ability to act as a “gatekeeper” for the President to attend to operational needs of the organization and determining the key topics and areas of focus where the President should dedicate their time and energy
  • Oversee large cross-functional projects or initiatives where facilitating decisions across a diverse set of stakeholders is required to align with the company’s strategic priorities
  • Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes
  • Act as a key thought partner, brainstorming and identifying solutions to challenges
  • Support the President as requested in areas such as preparing executive review presentations & follow up; action planning; defining and tracking key performance indicators
  • Plan, organize, and run meetings with internal and external stakeholders and own follow-up action items
  • Improve internal processes and decision-making
  • Define, monitor and report on growth metrics and key performance indicators
  • Work across all businesses and functions to drive the strategic planning process by pulling together and synthesizing the necessary information and insights to develop the “what” and the “how” for SEM’s strategic plan
