About The Position

The Director, Global Long Form Planning at Warner Bros. Discovery is responsible for partnering with various programming and scheduling teams to create and maintain a prioritized Global Content pipeline plan for long form content. This role involves optimizing operational and distribution availability demand signals, ensuring timely and successful global deliveries, and managing the content customization budget. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement effective workflows and processes that support sustainable content pipeline activities.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 10 years of professional media industry experience
• Experience within content planning, post-production, production finance, and/or project management disciplines
• Strong cross-functional, organizational, and project management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain a tactical global content pipeline framework for Long Form content.
• Partner with GCO & MSC to support sustainable Long Form content pipeline activities, including content prioritization and budget management.
• Maintain an up-to-date prioritized Global Content Pipeline plan for Long Form content.
• Obtain a global view of regional Streaming and Network Long Form content plans and requirements.
• Define and document SLAs for end-to-end workflows to measure success.
• Engage with Content Strategy, Planning, and Scheduling to align on platform schedule dates and publication strategy.
• Provide guidance on global masters and required technical quality for pipeline content.
• Partner with various teams to ensure accurate Long Form Customization budget planning.
