About The Position

The Director, HR Operational Excellence will play a key role in advancing HR's strategic priorities through operational rigor, agile execution, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will help drive transformation efforts, support scalable solutions, and enable strategic initiatives across the Global HR function. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical acumen, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset to deliver measurable outcomes and enhance HR's effectiveness to elevate our execution as a function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in HR, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus preferred
  • 7+ Years of experience leading HR programs or cross-functional initiatives required
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive operational improvements required
  • Experience with agile methodologies and HR technology platforms preferred
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform decisions required
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across diverse teams and stakeholders required
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and dashboarding solutions preferred
  • Exposure to transformation or change management efforts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive HR Transformation: Partner with the Executive Director to support the design and delivery of HR transformation initiatives that align with enterprise and functional strategy. Lead select workstreams or projects that modernize HR capabilities, improve service delivery, and drive measurable outcomes. Collaborate with HR leaders to identify pain points, gather insights, and contribute to scalable solutions that address evolving business needs.
  • Advance Operational Excellence: Develop and implement process improvements across HR functions, including Talent, Rewards, and HR Operations. Support the creation of governance models, performance metrics, and operational dashboards to monitor and improve HR effectiveness. Ensure consistency and scalability of HR processes, balancing global standards with local adaptability.
  • Strategic Enablement & Execution: Translate strategic priorities into actionable HR programs with clear timelines, ownership, and success measures. Coordinate with HR COE's and business units to ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives. Contribute to the development of playbooks, toolkits, and frameworks that enable HR teams to execute with clarity and confidence.
  • Agile Project Delivery: Serve as a key member of the SWAT-style team in deploying solutions to address urgent business needs and emerging priorities. Manage cross-functional projects using agile methodologies to accelerate delivery and enhance collaboration. Track progress, resolve issues, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
  • Promote Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to pilot new tools, technologies, or approaches that enhance HR capabilities and employee experience. Use data and analytics to inform decisions, measure success, and drive continuous improvement. Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and feedback across HR teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with HR leaders, business partners, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and shared accountability. Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes clearly across diverse audiences. Facilitate collaboration and problem-solving across teams to support successful execution of strategic initiatives.
