About The Position

As the Director – Ecommerce Merchandising within Levi's Global Merchandising team, you will help transform the Global Merchandising strategy and assortment framework to accelerate our global ecommerce business. You will build a compelling assortment for ecommerce that supports our revenue and brand objectives. You will model and inspire a consumer-focused, growth-minded, novel, and team-oriented approach, all while driving critical product-led growth initiatives across the globe.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Merchandising with a focus on eCommerce/Digital.
  • Enabled measurable step-change in web merchandising strategy for a major retailer.
  • Put ecommerce at the center of brand story through your product passion, merchandising and visual presentation POV.
  • Knowledge of digital consumer shopping behavior and trends; you understand how technology influences ecommerce.
  • Worked in a matrixed organization, capable of big picture strategic planning, execution & agility.
  • Considered an invaluable cross-functional collaborator by partners across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a distinctive and cohesive product assortment to accelerate ecommerce growth across our global O&O channels.
  • Apply a consumer-first lens to curate and optimize assortment hierarchies and frameworks, ensuring product organization, navigation, and categorization resonate with customer behaviors and shopping patterns.
  • Drive the GDA for ecommerce in partnership with the SVPs of Mens' and Womens', and informed by market hindsighting as well as consumer and product insights from the cluster merchandising and commercial teams.
  • Elevate the product storytelling to amplify the Levi's Denim Lifestyle expression on our digital channels; establish global product/assortment guardrails for the Levi's digital storefront.
  • Ensure merchandising of product throughout the site(s) is aligned with channel growth plans and enhance the fan experience.
  • Create partnership with cluster merchants, ecommerce, and marketing to ensure best-in-class execution of on-site visual merchandising and digital marketing campaigns to promote engagement, loyalty, and conversations.
  • Lead competitive insights analysis by overseeing digital landscapes, benchmarking against competitor websites, and translating insights into applicable strategies to elevate online product positioning and performance.
  • Synthesize global product best practices online across regions and teams, aligning strategies and ensuring a best-in-class product experience across all digital touchpoints.
