About The Position

The Director of Global Assurance Analytics at CME Group is responsible for leading the data analytics team and initiatives within the Global Assurance team. This role involves assessing risk, executing audits, and developing a data analytics strategy that includes management reporting, risk assessments, and control monitoring. The director will oversee various data analytics projects, including robotic process automation and advanced analytic tool development, while ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to established methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience working at large, multinational companies, supporting global teams and processes
• Experience managing teams with international delivery
• Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of advanced data analytics processes, tools, and concepts
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, and knowing how to identify bias so it can be avoided
• Advanced in programming languages - Python and Oracle PL/SQL
• Proficient in GCP data services (e.g., BigQuery, Looker) and Tableau
• Experience in Robotics Process Automation (e.g. Automation Anywhere)
• Proficiency with Google Workspace tools
• Strong knowledge of Internal Audit
• Effective communicator - must be able to succinctly communicate technical concepts to non-technical leaders

Responsibilities

• Develop short, medium, and long term strategic objectives and initiatives for the data analytics team
• Identify and incorporate best practices for the data analytics team
• Oversee data analytics projects, including audit specific projects and non-audit specific projects such as robotic process automation and continuous control monitoring
• Recruit, train, and oversee data analytics team members' development and performance
• Review work products, execution against audit analytics methodology, management reporting, and other ad hoc responsibilities
• Evaluate new analytics tools and technologies
• Own data analytics methodology, standards, and processes and ensure high quality execution
