Shape the next chapter of Mourant Governance Services (MourantGS) in Guernsey. We’re seeking an experienced Director to lead, grow and deliver fund services for a portfolio of Guernsey fund and fund‑like structures. Partnering with our Head of Fund Services and senior colleagues across MourantGS alongside lawyers and business development professionals. You’ll hold overall accountability for service delivery, people, risk and fund services performance in Guernsey, playing a key role in delivering our vision and strategy. You’ll grow and scale a high‑quality fund administration and accounting capability serving international investment managers, family offices, and corporate and institutional clients. As part of MourantGS’s senior leadership, you’ll blend strategic leadership and governance with hands‑on client service. About the role Lead Guernsey fund services strategy and end‑to-end client service delivery. Be accountable for service quality, people, risk and performance management. Grow and coach a high‑performing local team, and deliver the operating model aligned to the Mourant funds strategy. Drive sustainable growth through standout client service and targeted business development in connection with colleagues across the wider business; Oversee new‑business take‑on in line with policies and lead client relationships. Manage risk, governance and compliance (AML/CFT, tax, fiduciary and financial crime), with robust policies, systems, controls and clear KRIs/KPIs; Collaborate with Global Operations and Risk & Compliance, as well as other key stakeholders. Oversee regulatory compliance and product governance. Lead data integrity and regulatory/client reporting, and the use of fund administration systems. Serve as a director on client entities and contribute to the regulated Guernsey board; support growth of the wider Guernsey business. About you Deep expertise in fund administration with strong operational understanding of the Guernsey legal and regulatory framework for funds, trusts and companies (including AML/CFT). Experience acting as a director on a Guernsey regulated entity. A genuine client‑service mindset and highly developed interpersonal skills Proven success leading and developing high‑performing teams. Drive and ambition: an objective‑setter who delivers. Strong risk identification and management skills (including tax, complex fiduciary and financial crime), with the ability to obtain, interpret and implement advice.
