About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Director, Franchise Engagement to support franchisees through the full development lifecycle, from agreement signing through center opening. This onsite leadership role serves as the primary liaison between franchise owners and internal teams including Real Estate, Development, Construction, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Marketing. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in structured execution, high-volume communication, and complex development pipelines. You will balance relationship management with disciplined tracking to ensure franchisees feel confident while projects stay on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in franchise development, real estate, project management, or client-facing roles
  • Strong organizational skills with experience using CRM or project management tools (Monday.com preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume stakeholder communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship management and expectation-setting abilities
  • Ability to navigate complex workflows and development timelines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in franchise, multi-unit, retail, hospitality, or service-based environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Franchisee Communication and Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees throughout development
  • Provide timely updates on site availability, milestones, and next steps
  • Guide franchisees through site evaluation, demos, and selection decisions
  • Maintain clear documentation of communications and action items
  • Development and Pipeline Coordination: Coordinate site matching requests across internal stakeholders
  • Track development milestones from site selection through pre-construction
  • Monitor pipeline movement and proactively identify risks or delays
  • Review submitted sites and coordinate evaluations with brokers and internal partners
  • Ensure smooth handoffs to the New Center Opening team
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Real Estate, Construction, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance
  • Align franchisee communication with internal timelines and deliverables
  • Escalate potential risks early to protect development schedules
  • Process and Systems Management: Maintain development tracking tools and CRM records
  • Support franchisee onboarding and system setup
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and franchisee experience
