About The Position

This role will support our continued growth and value creation across our life sciences, diagnostics, and environmental testing businesses. This is a critical role within the finance team, responsible for leading company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analytics. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leaders across the organization to deliver financial insights that guide decision-making, optimize performance, and support strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required
  • 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3-5 years in FP&A or similar analytical leadership role
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, scenario modeling, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis
  • Track record of working effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills; ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in standard computer applications, with excellent skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Access

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Power BI) preferred
  • Proven success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; experience in life sciences, manufacturing, or industrial sectors strongly preferred
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other essential time constraints
  • Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets across business units
  • Manage the preparation of monthly operating decks with key financial metrics, trends, and performance insights for executive review
  • Oversee financial consolidations to ensure timely and accurate reporting of company-wide performance
  • Prepare recurring reports and analysis for lenders and rating agencies, ensuring consistency and clarity of financial messaging
  • Deliver actionable financial analysis to support decision-making across departments
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models and tools to support scenario planning, variance analysis, and forecasting accuracy
  • Identify and communicate key business drivers and performance trends to senior leadership
  • Partner with the accounting team to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts, and to support the monthly close process
  • Continuously improve planning and reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency
