We're equipped to meet all our clients' unique challenges including reorganizations, Ponzi schemes, fraud, contractual disputes, matrimonial claims, Intellectual Property disputes, valuation, and forensic investigations. Divided into five main arms of Bankruptcy & Restructuring, Forensic Accounting, Transaction Advisory Services, Corporate Finance and Valuation Services, our client base is comprised primarily of lawyers and law firms of all sizes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
  • 10 + years of experience in the commercial/residential real estate valuation
  • MAI/RICS designation, Certified General Appraiser License or Certified Appraiser license / State (CG) license a plus
  • Valid Passport

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with client deliverable life cycle and proven record of successful management of client deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Valuation of real assets including multi-family, hospitality, commercial and retail
  • Managing projects/engagements to ensure delivery on time and on budget
  • Prepare purchase price allocations
  • Provide Waterfall analysis and modeling
  • Analyze loan covenants and value collateral real estate assets
  • Prepare feasibility and benchmark studies for real estate developments and projects
  • Review third party appraisal reports as part of the valuation management process, discuss and resolve any concerns with the client and/or the 3rd party appraiser
  • Review appraisal reports for compliance with USPAP and State regulations
  • Manage client communications throughout the valuation management engagement; create or review portfolio metric presentations
  • Performing due diligence for large portfolio acquisitions
  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions, including identifying and discussing any potential tenant risks (kick out clauses, bad debt, termination rights, etc.) with the client, and discussing market conditions and the reasonableness
  • Develop client relationships and grow valuation services group
  • Market-facing thought leadership skills
