About The Position

The Director for Undergraduate Admissions is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at ECU. Requirements

  • Master's degree with 5 years of related experience in admissions administration.
  • Experience in developing and leading recruitment events for students.
  • Familiarity with integrated student information systems.
  • Current knowledge of the enrollment landscape and best practices for communication with potential students.
  • Experience in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing enrollment data for strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of innovative technology uses in recruitment processes.
  • Superior communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in facilitating organizational development and change.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operations of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
  • Ensure accuracy of admissions decisions and compliance with ECU and UNC System policies.
  • Develop and implement recruitment and marketing plans that align with institutional goals.
  • Continuously improve admissions operations to meet undergraduate enrollment goals.
  • Execute strategic enrollment action plans based on data and market intelligence.
  • Articulate goals for recruiters and monitor their progress.
  • Manage personnel and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee the budget for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and recommend resource investments.
  • Provide regular funnel reports to the Provost and Associate Provost.
  • Serve on various institutional committees.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $135,000 - $140,000.
