About The Position
The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) invites applications for the position of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI). The Director for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) is a racial and social justice advocate who works collaboratively to develop, implement, and maintain a range of successful practices to support a culture of care that values equity, diversity, and inclusion. This position will involve working at organizational and statewide levels, collaborating closely with internal and external partners to enhance capacity for advancing SBCTC's Strategic Plan, along with its vision, mission, and values. The Director for EDI is an administrative exempt position that reports to the Deputy Executive Director for Strategic Initiatives/Chief of Staff. This position will be headquartered in Olympia; however, some hybrid work can be negotiated.
