The Director of Clinical Expansion is an Entrepreneurial role leading clinical strategy, expansion, and operations to ensure optimal clinical experiences for students. The role oversees the clinical expansion of the clinical programs to secure, cultivate, and bridge the gap between clinical sites and the university, facilitating smooth operations, and ensuring all clinical program's high standards are maintained. The Director of Clinical Expansion must have executive communication/presentation skills to communicate and present at the executive C-suite level with proficiency in stakeholder buy in, strong cross-functional communication, and organizational navigation. This position requires the incumbent to travel among campuses and the clinical field conducting meetings with preceptors and health system administrators to strengthen relationships and enhance communication and increase clinical sites for existing, transplant and new programs between hospitals and the university. The incumbent must assure that the South University philosophy is considered in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position, which includes quality services to clients; development, growth, involvement, and recognition of employees; sound economic principles; and maintenance of an environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking, and expansion. This position is remote and live near a major airport preferably in the southeastern US.
