About The Position

The Director of Food-Nutrition Services at St Luke's Health - The Woodlands Campus is responsible for overseeing all activities related to food service within the hospital. This role includes financial accountability, compliance with health standards, and leading the food and nutrition services departments to ensure a unified service experience for patients, residents, visitors, and employees. The director will manage daily operations, implement training programs, and maintain effective relationships with other departments.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years hospital nutrition management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist required.
• Current certification as a ServSafe© Food Protection Manager.
• Current (within the past 12 months) ServSafe© Allergen Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily management of all food and nutrition (dietary) services.
• Plans, directs, coordinates and controls resources of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Prepares the budget and assists in the development of financial and operational plans for the department.
• Establishes and maintains regulatory compliance with food and nutrition services policies and procedures.
• Manages department human resources including employee orientation, training, and performance supervision.
• Monitors department performance through customer satisfaction assessments and financial reports.
• Completes QAPI assessment reports and collaborates with the hospital QAPI department.
• Addresses customer complaints and conducts service recovery where possible.
• Conducts rounding with patients and staff to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Participates in hospital committees as indicated by department policies.

• Full-time position with competitive pay range of $46.96 - $68.10 per hour.
