About The Position

What will I be doing? The Food & Beverage Manager oversees daily F&B and retail gift shop operations to ensure exceptional guest and owner experiences. This role ensures all team members follow food quality, sanitation, safety, and resort policies while supporting operational, financial, and service goals. Additional Responsibilities: Oversee daily F&B operations, ensuring food quality, safety, sanitation, and service standards are met. Train, coach, and support team members while maintaining compliance with company policies. Achieve operational, financial, and guest satisfaction goals through effective forecasting, budgeting, and labor control. Assist with resolving guest concerns and addressing staffing, inventory, and supply challenges. Support the GM with capital projects and operational improvement planning. Coordinate with other departments, including the Front Desk, to align staffing and inventory needs with occupancy. Ensure accurate shift closings, checklists, and daily procedures are completed. Contribute to menu development and F&B marketing initiatives. Manage retail gift shop operations, including purchasing, merchandising, scheduling, and inventory. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications What are we looking for? Requirements

  • 2–5 years of direct Food & Beverage experience
  • 2–5 years of management or supervisory experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in environments with moderate noise, outdoor conditions, heights, chemicals, and extreme heat/cold
  • Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, reaching, and use of hands/fingers
  • First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
  • TB Clearance (per local requirements)
  • Ability to acquire State of Hawaii Liquor Commission Card (Blue)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel, resort, or timeshare F&B experience
  • Culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Experience working in a union environment or managing staff under a collective bargaining agreement (CBA)
  • BA/BS degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field
