As the Director of Flows & Subcontracting at L'Oréal, you will ensure the performance of all internal and external physical flows and define/implement the factory inventory policies and best practices. You will lead a team of managers, supervisors, forklift operators, and receiving clerks, fostering 100% employee active engagement. Your role will involve supporting an interdependent safety culture, implementing quality assurance and safety procedures, and maintaining effective employee relations. You will also manage the receipt and shipment of products, oversee inventory management with external warehousing, and support capital expenditure and operational expenditure projects.

  • Ensure the performance of all internal and external physical flows.
  • Define and implement factory inventory policies and best practices.
  • Lead the flows team and create employee engagement.
  • Support an interdependent safety culture and participate in safety committees.
  • Implement quality assurance, GMP, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Maintain an effective employee relations environment.
  • Manage the receipt and shipment of products throughout the site.
  • Manage inventory and flow with external warehousing locations.
  • Oversee physical installations related to inventory.
  • Define and implement factory best practices in training and inventory control.
  • Develop long-term production plans with the logistics department.
  • Define departmental KPIs and communicate them to the team.
  • Support inventory health processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a major technical discipline or business required.
  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration desirable.
  • Minimum five years of experience in logistics, production, or supply chain management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Demonstrated competencies in creative problem solving, decision making, and communication.
