About The Position
The Greensboro Jewish Federation builds community among the Jewish people of Greensboro, assuring continuity from generation to generation. Recognizing that each Jew is responsible, one for another, the Federation promotes the welfare of the Jewish people in our community, in Israel, and worldwide. Locally, the Federation offers programming, networking and social events, scholarships and grants; brokers community relations; advocates for Israel; and organizes citywide religious observances and celebrations. The Director of Financial Resource Development (FRD) is a key member of our leadership team, responsible for sustaining and growing the Federation's impact in our small but vibrant community. This position focuses heavily on managing and growing the Annual Campaign through individual giving, fundraising events, and corporate sponsorships and grants. The Director of FRD will build strong donor relationships and foster a culture of philanthropy that sustains Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world. The Director of FRD will be charged with developing and building strategic fundraising initiatives to that align with Federation's mission and organizational priorities and will ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of the Greensboro Jewish community.
