Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA, CPA, CFA, strongly preferred
  • 8–12+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, with 3+ years leading and developing a team
  • Deep SaaS or subscription-business experience with proven command of recurring revenue metrics and unit economics
  • Hands-on experience implementing FP&A systems (Aleph, Abacum, Drivetrain, or similar)
  • Advanced financial modeling skills: three-statement models, DCF, scenario analysis, cohort modeling
  • Strong knowledge in Excel and Gsuite tools
  • Proficiency with ERP, CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), and BI tools (Tableau, Looker)

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dynamic three-statement models supporting scenario analysis
  • Lead monthly close analysis with variance reporting, clear driver narratives, and recommended corrective actions
  • Assist with preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and executive dashboards
  • Own CFI’s SaaS KPI framework: ARR, GRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC, payback period, magic number and rule of 40
  • Build cohort analysis models to track retention curves, expansion revenue, and unit economics across segments
  • Partner with Data/BI teams to create self-serve dashboards that democratize access to key metrics
  • Serve as finance partner to Marketing and Go-to-Market, building ROI models for paid acquisition, content, SEO, and lifecycle campaigns
  • Analyze full-funnel performance (traffic → leads → trials → conversions → revenue) with channel attribution
  • Track and forecast CAC by channel and cohort; provide actionable recommendations on spend allocation and efficiency
  • Lead evaluation and implementation of FP&A planning tools
  • Drive integration between ERP, CRM, billing systems, and FP&A platforms to create a single source of financial truth
  • Champion automation of recurring reporting and data consolidation to free the team for strategic work
  • Create individualized career development plans with clear milestones, stretch assignments, and regular coaching
  • Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and business partnership—strategic advisors, not report generators
  • Communicate SLT decisions and initiatives top-down to help the team better align personal and team goals with company directions
  • Act as a proactive business partner to department heads, bringing financial perspective to operational decisions
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for non-finance audiences
  • Support ad-hoc analysis as requested by the VP Finance & Accounting and SLT
