About The Position

The Director of Finance at AdventHealth Castle Rock is responsible for overseeing the daily financial functions and decision support within the organization. This role includes managing labor, capital planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while providing analytical support to operational management and collaborating with department leaders to ensure fiscal responsibility and effective budget management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 6 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Decision Support, with a strong preference for healthcare experience.
• 1 year of experience in a leadership position.
• Excellent communication and managerial abilities.
• Strong aptitude for working with all levels of management.
• Operational exposure to revenue cycle operations and/or payor community is essential.
• Ability to be entrepreneurial and seek creative solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of healthcare financial models and key operational indicators.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily functions of finance and decision support including labor management and capital planning.
• Conduct month-end and quarterly close analysis and reporting.
• Oversee financial and profitability reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting.
• Assist facility leadership and system finance leaders with fiscal education and research of operating activities.
• Provide analytical support to operational management.
• Collaborate with department directors and hospital leadership to manage budgets effectively.
• Ensure accurate reflection of costs in the proper departments and sub-accounts.
• Create and maintain productivity action plan templates.
