This role is a significant contributor to overall park performance and is responsible for providing strategic and tactical initiatives to drive revenue and EBITDA. This position will consistently engage with park and corporate leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant business experience (e.g., financial planning and analysis, cost analysis, accounting)
  • 5+ years’ experience in assumption-based analysis, with demonstrated ability to develop and articulate information gained to business decision makers
  • 3+ years’ experience leading teams
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence others at all levels and lead a team of Ambassadors
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-change environment
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Business Objects and other data warehouse tools

Responsibilities

  • Ability to identify and drive strategic direction across all levels of the organization
  • Must have significant hands-on experience in pricing for theme parks or other complex hospitality/ travel environment
  • Perform risk analysis on various financial impacts and initiatives
  • Participate in the forecasting of attendance and admission per capitas on a monthly basis
  • Participate on revenue leadership meetings locally and corporate
  • Provide support and leadership on parks’ operating costs and help facilitate the Company’s zero-based budget process
  • Ability to successfully influence others at all levels and lead a team of Ambassadors
  • Consistently managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-change environment
  • Responsible for cost and efficiency tracking across all 12 parks and corporate departments
  • Review and analyze budget submissions by comparing cost drivers to business conditions
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and latest forecasts
  • Conduct analysis on key metrics
  • Review and analyze expense variances and lead cost review meetings across all departments
  • Provide analytical support as it relates to cost management initiatives
  • Work with all levels of management to implement efficiencies as identified
  • Lead special projects and other duties as assigned
