This is a hybrid position based out of our Chicago or Milwaukee office. About the role: The Director, Finance | US is a strategic leader and key financial partner to Senior Leadership across all US. This role is accountable for driving enterprise-wide financial performance, enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting Senior Leadership with actionable insights, and performing complex analyses. This position leads high-impact initiatives across financial and analytics domains, while delivering exceptional business support and strategic guidance. The role requires a seasoned business intelligence analyst with deep technical expertise, strong financial acumen, the ability to manage multiple projects, and communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across various levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in FP&A, strategic finance, or operational finance.
  • MBA or CPA or CFA or Equivalent.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or national operations; CRE or service industry experience strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise in dashboard development, financial modeling, financial analysis, and forecasting
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency with financial systems, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive organizational alignment
  • Well-developed oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication, with the ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple data projects from requirements to production, leveraging onshore/offshore and/or internal resources.
  • Collaborate with US Finance team and provide support to other service lines as needed.
  • Lead financial integration efforts for organizational changes and major cross-functional projects.
  • Provide support for national budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
  • Deliver advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and executive-level insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct profitability analysis, P&L optimization, pricing/underwriting support, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership across the organization to enhance financial dashboards, Power BI reporting, benchmarking, broker performance analytics, and predictive analytics.
  • Oversee reporting related to broker production, revenue, commissions, and capital expenditures.
  • Lead enterprise-wide efforts to expand FCF, optimize working capital, and strengthen liquidity.
  • Identify cost efficiencies and strategic levers that enhance cash generation and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls and risk management practices across the organization.
  • Provide high-quality ad hoc analysis and decision support.
  • Support the development of financial inputs for the strategic planning process.
  • Leading cost efficiency initiatives and analysis.
  • Ensure finance and operations activities are aligned with global priorities.
  • Update and streamline business case and client pricing processes.
