About The Position

The Director of Finance & Operations is a strategic leader responsible for integrating Jon Renau’s financial, operational, IT, and warehouse functions to drive efficiency, scalability, and measurable excellence across the organization. This role ensures financial insight directly informs operational execution—creating a foundation of accountability and sustainable growth across U.S., Europe and Canada. Reporting to the President, the Director oversees finance, operations, supply chain, IT systems, and warehouse performance, ensuring technology, logistics, and data work seamlessly to support business continuity and the company’s core operational tenants: Product First, Customer Always, Deliver Without Compromise, and Do it Now.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance with leadership roles within CPG, beauty, or apparel manufacturing/distribution.
  • Proven success in building financial models, cost analyses, and system-driven reporting frameworks.
  • Experience managing cross-border operations (U.S., Europe and Canada).
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP (optimization and reporting) required.
  • Proven experience overseeing warehouse operations and IT functions, including system integrations, infrastructure, and logistics technology.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive alignment between financial strategy and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning cycles aligned with company goals.
  • Partner with the President to enhance P&L visibility, margin reporting, and cost management.
  • Build financial dashboards and KPIs linking departmental performance to overall company success.
  • Support pricing, profitability analysis, and capital investment planning.
  • Ensure financial compliance, audit readiness, and data accuracy across all entities.
  • Mentor and develop the AP/AR/ and Accounting team to grow their skill sets and abilities to take Jon Renau to the next level.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement across purchasing, production, and warehouse operations to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and logistics coordination, ensuring timely, cost-effective fulfillment.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to strengthen throughput, safety, and capacity planning.
  • Introduce standardized metrics for warehouse and departmental performance tracking.
  • Strengthen coordination between purchasing, production, and logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Introduce standardized operating metrics for performance tracking across departments.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the company’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance.
  • Partner with IT leadership to ensure systems stability, security, and scalability in support of business operations.
  • Align technology initiatives with organizational goals for efficiency, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies that enhance operational capability and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure IT budgets and priorities align with financial and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, People & Culture, and Product teams to align business objectives with financial strategy.
  • Partner with the President to develop a 3–5 year growth and scalability roadmap.
  • Translate strategic objectives into measurable operational plans and results.
  • Model Jon Renau’s culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams in Warehouse Operations.
  • Mentor and support Finance, IT, and Operations leaders to strengthen cross-department collaboration and accountability.
  • Build leadership capacity through mentoring and empowerment.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and measurable improvement.
